Business students need a bridge between theoretical foundations and real-life situations that can enhance the receptiveness of a situation in general. The Dream Homes case is such a comprehensive financial and operational management analysis case. The case demonstrates a classic situation a business faces: a growing need for funds to facilitate growing sales. It focus on maintaining a delicate balance between credit needs of the business with sustainable growth as main reason for business failures is incapability of maintaining it. This helps future managers in decision- making to ascertain whether an investment is worth it. It gives a thought provoking scenario for the students so as to enable them in accounting analysis, financial analysis, strategy analysis and predictive analysis in a general context. It can enable students to think as a prospective manager while handling investment and strategic decisions. By achieving a thorough and rational decision; a step by step analysis of financial statements while understanding the dynamic situations revolving around the business.
